THE BRIEF

Taylor Chocek is an A-tier professional disc golfer, sponsored by Disc Craft, one of the most prominent names in the sport. She currently holds the title of Women’s United States Distance Champion and has played alongside well-known pros such as Paul McBeth, James Proctor, Kona Montgomery, Thomas Gilbert, and Nate Sexton. When Taylor first secured her sponsorships, she approached me for a logo to use across her social media and merchandise. She wanted to incorporate a lightning bolt to represent the power behind her renowned long drives and requested a bold, eye-catching aesthetic that would appeal to a wide audience.

THE SOLUTION

Taylor and I collaborated closely throughout the conceptual stages, as she brought many creative ideas to the table. By combining our efforts and relying on my design expertise, we crafted an expansive and flexible design system. This system includes a mascot, logotype, monogram, and multiple variations of each. The brand toolkit we developed has allowed Taylor to work seamlessly with sponsors and merchandise manufacturers, helping her build a unique personal brand within the disc golf community.
